None of these suggestions will actually produce a booklet with the pages in the correct order. It can be rearranged to produce a booklet in a publishing software, like InDesign or Publisher. Or, print it duplex and bind it. But if you want four pages on a sheet (two on front, two on back) in the correct order for folding into a booklet, it can't be done natively in Word.

In Word, click on "help" or the question mark found to the right of the menu bar or in the screen's upper right corner. This enables a search function that serves as sort of electronic instruction manual for using Word. Search for "booklet".
What you want to do is convert your document's page format from portrait to landscape view and then insert a gutter margin or a book fold into the document as shown in the "booklet" results.
Another quick and dirty method is to fool around with your printer settings and print two pages on one sheet but this will only shrink the page from full size to less than 1/2 size to fit on the paper; it may be very difficult to read.
I strongly recommend you copy and save your original document under a different name and use the new file as your experimental file as you learn these new skills. Don't forget about the redo and undo buttons on the toolbar (the curving arrow buttons on the left side of the menu bar). They are great tools for fixing the "oops" moments!
Good luck!

Hi Patricia, I think you can just do this under your print function - when you go to print, choose properties and I believe you will find a duplex/booklet option, depending on your printer's capabilities.

Do you mean to read on the screen in booklet format? You can just view it in 2 pages. Do you mean just print it double sided and bind it? I am not sure I understand what you want to know.
