Gift for Boss

Does anyone have any ideas on xmas gifts for their boss. My boss doesn't like us to spend a lot of money on gifts - and after many years I am at a loss as to what to give him. Thanks

Tickets to an event would be nice. Theater tickets are good, too. Linda Palmer on 1/29/2010 1:37:26 PM
I sent my boss a Christmas wreath. We had a fundraiser in our IAAP Chapter and they were beautiful. The boss' wife loved it! Wanda Heit CPS/CAP on 12/16/2009 8:24:53 AM

Hello, Kim! Here are a few suggestions that have worked for us over the years: LOYALTY POINTS PROGRAMS: Does your boss travel frequently, dine out frequently? If so, how about "gifting" him some frequent flyer miles or Dining Rewards points. Same for hotels: Some of the partners offer purchasing miles or points incentives. If he's not signed up for any of the programs...signing him up to all of the programs for what he already uses would be a great "gift". If any you or any of your other staff participate in these programs, without spending anything or very little (processing fees), you could use your points/miles to give him a mini vacation away from the office. PRIVATE LUNCH SERVICE: How about Boss’s Day White Glove Catered Lunch. Order lunch from his favorite restaurant. Staff could bring in their fine china and tableware. Pay a nominal fee to local area Hotel/Hospitality or Culinary Arts students to provide the White Glove Wait Service. Your boss gets a private catered lunch service he will remember and the students get practical experience (field study units/credits) and spending money for the holidays. GOOD CAUSE IN YOUR BOSS’S NAME: Is there a hobby, interest, or cause, that he is passionate about? You mentioned that your boss does not what you to spend a lot of money...How about setting up a charity donation in his or family's name. At the end of the year, you could send it to the charity on behalf of your boss by his employees, staff, team, etc. Let me know what you come up with. We are always looking for new ways to show our Administrator our appreciation. Good luck! Mary on 11/20/2009 2:44:26 PM
