Boss wants something unique for all-hands meeting

We will be having an all-hands meeting in a few months and my boss asked me if I could help him to come up with something fun for the meeting. Something that would last say for 15 -20 minutes. We/us admins take turns with this meeting and its my turn. Last time someone put up pictures of adult employees bodies with no face and then people were asked to match the baby pictures of the employees with the adult pictures. I need something unique. Open for ideas, please reply.

We put together our version of Jeopardy. Our top 3 division members were contestants. Our topics were business related such as acronyms, who am I? (we gathered information from staff prior to meeting), products (different lines of products that our company provides), etc. We did throw in a few fun items such as Disney Princesses, Sports. The winner received a trophy. We served popcorn and gave everyone clappers. It was really fun! It did take time to figure out questions/answers but well worth it. Anonymous on 6/28/2013 9:16:16 AM
This idea is taken from a baby shower game I just won at. You will need safety pins or you can use a certain color pen to make it more business like. The object of the game is to see who can win the most pins/pens from the group. You pick a word that is associated to your industry or perhaps your meeting. Let's say your business is finance. No one can say the word Trade for the next 20 minutes. Everyone's goal is to try to make that person say Trade. If a person says Trade you call them out and take their pen/pin. This is a great game to have people mingle and talk to each other. You can even use a person's name or whatever you want. It is very versatile. Carol-Lynn Lavelle on 5/6/2013 3:25:52 PM
Have pictures of employees and pictures of the employees pets. They have to match the pet to the owner. Colleen Delcamp on 5/3/2013 10:07:40 AM
I did this with a large group a few years ago and they loved it!! Get several shoe boxes and fill with random things like big marshmallows, straws, gum, paperclips, pipe-cleaners, masking tape, raw, long spaghetti. Break all into groups and see who can build the tallest tower the fastest. It is great fun and good bonding. Stacey Browning on 5/3/2013 10:07:06 AM
At our last All Staff meeting, we used keypad polling to answer a series of questions. The purpose of the polling was primarily to get a sense of how staff felt about a possible move when the lease ends at our current location. There were many humorous questions and some ridiculously funny multiple choice answers but the exercise put staff at ease and the anonymity ensured the most honest answers to some of the more important questions. This is similar to your baby picture game...ask everyone ahead of time to write down something that no one knows about them. Collect all the comments. To start the meeting, read the comment and try to guess which employee it's about. Examples: "I was a radio disc jockey in a former career" or "Visiting India is on my bucket list" Karen Mordue on 5/3/2013 10:02:37 AM
