What Software Do You Use to Design Organizational Charts?

If you wanted to design a complex organizational chart for a Power Point presentation, what software would you use? I've tried to design one on Power Point, but I am having problems with alignment of the connecting lines. I have been using a straight line shape to connect the boxes, but it is difficult to reduce the length and make them align. Any tips? Thanks ------------------------------------------- Linda PNW

I use Visio. It is a great software for Org Charts. Kathy Hess on 4/18/2013 9:23:39 AM
I also use Visio. I used it about 10 years ago at a previous job where we had extensive flowcharts from analytical reports. I just ordered it again for my new position and I love it. It is great for org charts and flow charts. Nonna Cris on 8/26/2010 12:55:21 PM
I use OrgPlus 5. I find it easy to use for making the original chart - as well as making changes. Brenda Wilson on 8/25/2010 9:06:24 AM
Visio is great for org charts. It can be touchy sometimes but the finished product is always professional. I don't think it is very expensive at all and is worth every penny. G on 8/25/2010 8:45:52 AM
Hi Linda, I use VISIO; it works great, is very user friendly and gives many options for organizing the chart. Granted you may need to purchase a license to have the software, but for me I use it all the time. Not only for org charts, but for timelines, structure charts and many other things. Hope this helps. Good Luck. TinkS on 5/21/2010 3:08:41 PM
